It’s New Year’s Eve in Hamburg. Oskar is the owner of a run-down music club in the nightlife district of the city. His life was a blast, but the party is about to end. The club has gone bankrupt. All that’s left is the big closing party where all his past friends and foes come together. During the final night of the club, an ex-pimp is threatening Oskar’s life, his best friend Rocky is having a breakdown, the once buoyant Nina is now painting everything black, the police chief and a dead Elvis are coming for the club, and in the midst of it all, there’s the love of his life: Mathilda, Mathilda, Mathilda.
